people should be required to have a license to make layouts. the shit they call layouts these days is exactly that: shit.

- a doubled up, repeated background, does not constitute as a good layout. it does not even constitute as a background. it is a picture and you just had it repeat itself. that's fucking lame.

- putting your watermark all over the fucking layout does not constitute as a good layout. i have made numerous layouts, and rather than having a watermark across the entirety of it that reads "DON'T STEAL IT, YOU FUCKTARD!", i leave my watermark off that way you can enjoy the layout for what it is - a layout. when your watermark spans every corner of the "background," that is not a layout - that is just bad and horribly obnoxious advertising on your part for layouts that aren't even worth a shit.

- if you're going to make a div layout, you better damn well make sure that it works in both internet explorer and firefox. IE is not the way to go, in my opinion, but since you're bent on making crappy layouts, i suppose IE works the best for you. if you're a decent layout maker, you will ensure that your layout works in both IE and firefox. if you don't, you're a lazy ass.

i find it absolutely amazing what people call "good layouts" these days. repeating pictures, horribly mismatching color themes, and links that don't work, hardly does the term "good layout" any justice. a good layout will have a background that spans the resolution of your screen, and not just the creator's screen. it will have ONE picture in the background, the color themes will correspond to that ONE image, and the font will match it as well. a good div layout will work in both firefox and IE and all tables will match up accordingly and neatly, the color theme will match the ONE background, and all links will work properly.

if you can't make a decent layout, don't start your own damn layout website. it's a waste of your time to make them, and it's a waste of my time and energy to even hope you could come up with something even remotely creative and decent enough to display on my page.

i'm sticking with making my own layouts. fucksticks.
